Now some 9 years later, Microsoft has refined the lineup with the release of the Surface Pro 8 - the tech giant's most powerful 2-in-1 device yet. However, at a hefty starting price of RM4950, and up to RM8750 for its most specced out variant (without the keyboard case and stylus), is the Surface Pro 8 worth it? Today, Microsoft Malaysia has finally launched the Surface Laptop Studio in Malaysia. In case you missed it, the latest Surface Laptop Studio was initially on pre-order but you may now get your hands on it at every commercial authorized reseller and authorized retailer from a starting price of RM7399.

Back in January, Microsoft Malaysia released the Surface Pro 8 pre-order from RM4950 and it's now the Surface Laptop Studio's turn. Coming into Malaysia from a starting price of RM7399, the pre-order has already begun from 15 February via commercial authorised resellers and authorised retailers.

In October, Microsoft launch a new version of Windows for the first time in years. Windows 11 is far from perfect and we expect things like performance issues and bugs to keep appearing. But Microsoft is ready to push for a wider adoption via new Surface laptops.

On 19 October, Google will launch its highly-anticipated Pixel 6 series along with the in-house chipset Tensor. Besides Google, someone might also be interested in making a new in-house chipset that fits better with its own devices. According to the latest information, Microsoft could be planning to develop its own for the Surface devices.

As previously reported, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 is priced from RM1888 and today is the day. The tablet is now officially launched in the Malaysian market starting today onwards with three variants based on the processor and memory configuration. 

Update: The Surface Go 3 will be available for pre-order starting 23 September via commercial authorised resellers such as SoftwareONE and Maxis; and authorised retailers such as All IT, Gloo by SNS, Harvey Norman, Lazada-Microsoft Authorised store, PC Image, Senheng, Shopee-Microsoft Authorised store and TMT by Thundermatch.

From the Microsoft Event, it was announced that the Surface Laptop Studio, Surface Pro 8 and Surface Duo 2 have a rather expensive price tag for each. If you're looking for something more affordable, then the new Surface Go 3 could be the one for you.
